Summer is a popular time to travel and people are always looking for direct international routes where possible. Recognizing this, United Airlines announced the addition of two new non-stop routes between the United States and Spain for the summer of 2022:

Palma de Mallorca is the capital of the island of Mallorca is located in the bay of the same name and enjoys an excellent climate all year round. It is also the capital of the Balearic Islands region (there are 17 regions, or autonomous communities, in Spain; 15 on the mainland, and then each of the two island chains are autonomous regions / communities). Known for its sun and beach tourism, it also has an attractive historic district. It should be noted that the Jewish quarter of Mallorca had a strong Sephardic presence before the end of the 15th century. There is now a thriving little community there again today.
