Saber Accelerates NDC Deployment with Offers from Qatar Airways; Travel agencies to purchase, book and service NDC offers through Saber Red 360 as well as technology provider’s offer and order APIs

SOUTHLAKE, TXand Doha, QatarSaber Corporation (NASDAQ: SABR), a leading software and technology company powering the global travel industry, has successfully integrated IATA New Distribution Capability (NDC) content from qatarairways (QR) to its Global Distribution System (GDS). After a pilot phase with the agency’s clients in Australia and Swedenoffers from from Qatar flagship will now be successively deployed in travel agencies around the world from the July 7, 2022.

Travel agencies will be able to purchase, book and manage NDC offers from qatarairways. Access to from Qatar content will be available via red saber 360, Saber’s point-of-sale tool, and its NDC-enabled offer and order application programming interfaces (APIs).

With Qatar Airways’ extensive network of destinations, access to the carrier’s unique NDC content should be relevant to travel buyers around the world during the post-COVID-19 recovery period and beyond.

NDC is one aspect of Saber’s strategic goal to create a new market for personalized travel, with key developments expected in 2022. Dynamic air pricing for NDC offerings is expected to be available with the Air Price IQ product recently launched in the Saber Retail Intelligence suite. , which will allow airlines to optimize their offerings in real time through machine learning and data analytics capabilities based on airlines’ unique strategies and needs. As an NDC aggregator and IT provider to airlines, Saber is now included in the Airline Retailing Maturity (ARM) Index of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Radixx, which provides solutions for low-cost airlines, is also expected to be certified under the ARM Index later this year as an airline IT provider.
