LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – It all comes to Vegas in Priceline’s latest look at spring travel plans.
Las Vegas ranks # 1 on the lists of most popular hotel destinations, airline destinations and affordable hotel stays. It ranks # 2 on a fourth list of the most popular car rental destinations.
“After the CDC announced on April 2 that travel is permitted for travelers vaccinated two weeks after their last dose, Priceline saw a 16% increase in searches for flights from the previous week,” according to a statement from online travel agency press.

Priceline analyzed all hotel bookings made by consumers based in the United States between January 1 and March 3 to determine the most popular destinations for the second quarter (April 1 to June 30, 2021) of 2021.

Priceline notes Americans’ preference for “seaside and tropical getaways, as well as a continued appreciation for our local environment and an increased willingness to combine our vacations with work.”
The company also predicts that last-minute pandemic lifestyle travel plans are likely here to stay, although the average advance booking window is gradually increasing.
